Engineered Containment was instrumental in helping a major oilsands producer with the supply and installation of a secondary containment geomembrane containment system under very difficult project conditions. ECI was hired directly by the owner of the oilsands facility to supply and install a specialized high temperature and chemically resistant flexible geomembrane liner used in the secondary containment of the facilities operating tank farms. ECI needed to work within a very tight construction timeline and with various project stakeholders to ensure the secondary containment liner system for the tank farm was installed prior to the onset of winter weather. With a collaborative approach, team work, and effective communication with all project stakeholders, ECI was able to complete the very challenging installation in record time and with the highest level of quality and safety.
